Welcome!

My name is Erica S. Lee.   As a life-long resident of Precinct 1, I know how much our children deserve a quality education.  For this reason, I am thrilled to serve as your Harris County School Board Trustee.  As a certified teacher, I know how important our parents and teachers are to ensuring that the school districts in Harris County provide a quality education.  I hope to work with all of you.  Please join me on this journey as we work to ensure quality for all children.

I look forward to serving Precinct 1 with integrity.  All of our children deserve educational opportunity!

Legislation Filed to Cut Department of Education

State Rep. Debbie Riddle (R-150) filed HB945 this week. If enacted, it would abolish the Harris County Department of Education, transferring control of the assets to the Harris County Commissioners Court, and giving the commissioners one year to liquidate them.
